Tyler began his game on the crazed Sambava tribe. Past the first tribal council, Tyler was unaware of what was going on throughout most of the pre-merge. He ignored whatever other people said and voted for whoever he felt was threatening to him. This made him the least threatening member of Sambava to the alliance of Jake, Jordyn, and Ronnie, however when the Sambava tribe lost for a fifth time, the alliance had to vote out Tyler on Day 18.
